While my career has primarily been in the technology field, music has been an important part of my life. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, with a degree in Economics and Urban Planning, and was a city planner for five years. At that point I went into the field of technology which led me to where I am today, Sr. Director of Network Technology for the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
From a musical perspective, I was fortunate to receive vocal training at the University and performed in the University Choir and then the traveling Chamber Choir. Over the years I have enjoyed singing in a number of church choirs, and have had the opportunity to assist in directing them as well. I have now been singing with Spirit of Life for nineteen years and serving as rehearsal and backup director. All of these experiences of serving God through music have prepared me well for my new role as Music Director, and I look forward to seeing you at one of our concerts.
Godís blessings to you,
