Welcome again to our website.

From the Director

Welcome again to Spirit of Life's website.   As we approach our Fall 2016 concert season, I take this opportunity to let you know that the Spirit of Life Chorus will only be performing concerts in the Fall going forward, and discontinuing future Spring concert series.

Our program this season is entitled "Let There Be Peace on Earth", and contains multiple themes.  Part of our focus is to honor those who have served in our armed forces.  We will be recognizing our veterans for their commitment and service. We ask you to please bring a donation of basic household supplies and personal hygiene items to the concerts for Veterans Exiting Homelessness. We will also be supporting veteran's organizations through a benefit concert.  Our musical selections reflect on our country and the sacrifices made by service men and women to bring peace in the world.   The second part of our focus is on the wonder and joy of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and how he can change your life.   I hope that these selections will leave you with a sense of pride and gratefulness in those who have served our nation, and a feeling of hope for peace knowing you have a Savior who loves you.

Our ecumenical chorus, comprised of dedicated Christians from throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area, has been blessed to continue this music ministry for 26 years, bringing God's message of hope, peace, and love to thousands of people each year.  Our singers, instrumentalists, sound engineers and sales team are truly filled with the Holy Spirit as they volunteer their time, talents and energies in service and praise to our Lord.

I hope that you can come and spend some time with us at one of our concerts, the Concert Schedule can be found in the menu on the left.  You can also listen to a sample of our music located on the "Home" page.  There is no charge to attend.  I know that you will see and hear a message that will stay with you throughout the year and feel what it means to be part of the family of faith, an experience that will be well worth your while.

I hope to see you soon,

God’s blessings to you,

Marc Stiehr
